Calidad Como
Misma construcción que marcas de 200€
Yes. Every tie is hand-sewn with 3-fold technique, rolled edges and slip stitch at Lago di Como. Not machine-sewn with a manual finish — real craft from start to finish.
Because we sell direct. No middle-men, no distributors, no brand markup. Other Italian brands charge €150-200 using the same construction and Como silk — just with traditional distribution costs on top.
8 cm. The classic Italian width that balances elegance and versatility. Not too slim (dates fast), not too wide (ages poorly). Works with any collar and lapel.
Limited artisan production. Each tie takes 4 hours to complete.
Only at bundcompany.com. You won't find it at department stores.

Your current tie has a problem

It creases at the knot, the sheen looks plastic, or it's simply identical to everyone else's. A well-made tie changes everything.

Perfect knot, always
A 45° bias cut and linen-cotton interlining keep the knot dimpled all day. No creases, no twisting, no readjusting every hour.
Como silk, not factory silk
Every tie uses 18-momme silk woven at the historic Lago di Como mills — the world's silk capital for centuries. You feel it in the hand, you see it in the drape.
Hand-made, not machine-made
3-fold, hand-rolled edges, slip stitch, self-tipped. The same construction as Italian brands charging €150-200 per tie.

Where every tie is born
that you wear

Lago di Como has been the world's silk capital since the 15th century. Its historic mills weave the cloths used by Italy's finest fashion houses. Every BUND tie is woven, cut and hand-sewn at lakeside workshops — the same ones supplying brands that charge three times more.

18-momme silk. The weight Italy's finest houses choose: enough body for a perfect knot, enough softness for a drape that speaks for itself.

OK, but can you really feel the difference?

They aren't going back to industrial ties.

I got him one for our wedding and the photographer took three close-ups of the knot. Seriously. The drape is spectacular and in the photos the difference with the guests' ties is visible.

I've worn branded ties all my life. A partner asked if it was Marinella. I told him it's BUND, €89. He couldn't believe it. Construction is identical to €250 ties.

First Time €89 Well Spent
★★★★★

My first good tie. Until now I bought at Zara and they creased on the second wear. This one is six months in and looks like day one. The knot literally makes itself.

Ex Zara Never Going Back
★★★★★

I bought a navy one to test. A month later I had three. The gap with fast-fashion is brutal: the silk drapes differently, the knot keeps its dimple, the edges are soft. Impossible to go back.

Manos cosiendo corbata a mano en el Lago di Como

From workshop to the perfect knot

Every BUND tie goes through four artisan phases at Lago di Como.

Phase 1
The silk
Selected at Lago di Como's historic mills. 18-momme silk — the weight used by Italy's finest houses. Soft to the touch, with enough body for a perfect knot.
Phase 2
The cut
Cut on the bias, at 45° to the weave. That angle is the secret to natural drape and a knot that doesn't twist. Industrial ties are cut straight — that's why they twist.
Phase 3
The stitch
Hand-sewn with 3-fold technique. Rolled edges, not machine-folded. Slip stitch provides flexibility so the tie stretches and recovers without deforming.
Phase 4
The finish
Self-tipped: the inner tip is the same fabric as the outer — a clear sign of artisan quality. Reviewed piece by piece before leaving the workshop.

Got questions? Direct answers.

No fluff. Everything you need to know before choosing your tie.

With a quality silk tie, the dimple almost forms itself. Tie a four-in-hand, pinch just below the knot before tightening and pull the wide blade. Our linen-cotton interlining and bias cut keep the dimple all day without readjusting. With polyester ties it's practically impossible.
100% Italian 18-momme silk, woven at the historic Lago di Como mills — the world's silk capital. 18 mommes is the weight Italy's finest houses use: enough body for a perfect knot, enough softness for elegant drape. Depending on the model: jacquard, twill or grenadine.
Because we sell direct. No middle-stores, no distributors, no luxury-brand markup. Same silk, same construction (3-fold, hand-sewn, self-tipped), same Lago di Como workshops. The difference is the business model, not the quality.
Yes. Every tie is hand-sewn with 3-fold technique: rolled edges (not machine-folded), slip stitch (flexible) and self-tipped finish. Not an industrial tie with a manual finish at the end — full craft from cut to packaging.
It means the inner tip (the tipping) is made of the same silk fabric as the outer. Industrial ties use a different, cheaper lining. Self-tipped is a clear mark of artisan quality — the first thing someone who knows ties looks at.
8 cm. The classic Italian width that has survived every trend. Not too slim (dates fast), not too wide (overwhelms). Works with notch, peak or shawl lapels. Versatile for weddings, meetings and events.
No. The combination of bias cut (45° to the weave), linen-cotton interlining and slip stitch lets the tie recover after each wear. You can crumple it in your hand and it returns to its natural state. Ties with polyester interlining deform permanently.
30-day no-questions return. If you touch it and don't feel the difference with your current ties, we refund you. One email and done. Fair warning: 92% of our clients come back.
Never iron directly — silk is heat-sensitive. After each wear, undo the knot carefully (don't pull) and hang or roll it gently. Creases disappear on their own in 24 hours thanks to the linen-cotton interlining. If cleaning is needed, always a specialised dry-cleaner.
